Animal Tropical - Fusing the wry and witty songcraft perfected by Steely Dan with tropicalia, rock, Animal Tropical's sound is super-danceable and, for all its quirkiness, goes over big with booty shakers of all colors, creed, and class.

As camp as a row of tents, good fun, if a little disjointed.

i think there are just a few too many voices (most specifically the bop bop bops), but this is better than anything i could put together. right at the one minute mark through 1:40, that part doesnt work for me with the rest of the song. I'm using headphones and the main vocal is buried by the cymbals. My favorite part is the "christy are you with me" part at the end.

um, some of the vocals were interesting and the piano was weird and good but the music might suffer a bit from trying to impress with too many things going on. It beats a lot of crap on the radio if that's worth anything.

love that this just goes for it; although I'm not sure all of the parts connect on a satisfying way. That opening part could be used in one if those Target commercials. The "verse" sounds like the beach boys. But I do like a lot about this. I guess I agree with everyone else.

Ambitious might be the best word for this. After a few listens I'm not sure if it all works. The opening is brilliant with the techno break following. The change back seems a little artificial though. For the rest I love the energy and the wildness. Looking forward to hearing much more!!

im with paul, the opening would work well for a commercial or something. ambitious and well executed, but it makes me anxious for some reason. impressive though, enough that i vote feature

Sounds like broadway music, or off-broadway, whatever.
Obviously really great for that. As something just to listen to, the effect is like eating 5 desserts in one sitting.

pet sounds on coke. over produced lovelyness. i love this, yet overwhelming production almost ruins it.
