Whisper Scream (take 3)
boygenuis: After listening to this on repeat a bunch, I think I can find a place for this in my collection.

ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

Annabelle - I've never had any training, but lately I decided to just record some songs for fun.

Having never heard Taylor Swift's songs (I don't listen to commercial music much, it's all good, just not my thang) I judged this on how YOU put it across and I really like it, sweet and very well sung, yeah, lets hear one of your own next time OR hit one of us up for a collaboration, only too keen to help out!
Keep 'em coming, sister (we need more female vocalists here, too much dang testosterone!)

Sounds like Sarah Watkins, a little, even more cutesy pie. One song or so is charming, perhaps, but it's a style that wears thin pretty quick. Recording is weirdly compressed to the point of distraction. Just OK for me.

it was alright until the band came in at which point it became lite radio fare which is outside of my interests. howzebout an original?

I like the young love vibe here; the vocals seem appropriate for this poppy little ditty. I like the wistful quality in the vocals and lyrics. Gotta practice singing your p's and b's without "popping" them or get a mic screen...although you've really got a lot of popping here, and no matter how good a filter you get(or make), I think you need to practice. Your voice is too sweet and charming to let that take away from it! Love the sweet innocence here...

not a fan of the drums or the strings, but as far as those kinda songs go, its solid. like a really young sheryl crow vibe

I been around, I know. Bdude has liked a few. I do too. I would have liked the whole thing to sound nicer. And the microphone gets bumped a few times. This is a nice demo. I love the vocal performance. I could become a fan.

good work, the drums dont bother me, the strings make it sound kind of artificial sometimes, but nice job

I admit I didn't know from this song, not knowing anything about Taylor Swift and all that. So I listened to her version and then listened to yours again, and I retract what I said. You're great at this. Hope we get to hear more.
