btw, i like the profanity, it may be cheap, but it makes it stand out in terms of contemporariness (if that's a word). our generation doesn't even flinch at a string of #@&%!s and #@&%!s

i tend to automatically categorize stuff by comparing and contrasting the various blends of popular (or unpopular) styles of recorded artists, but its just my way of getting a feel for whatever style it is i am categorizing. you know, this sounds like ___ meets ____, with a hint of ___....... i never intend to point out that the style has been done before, etc. unless i specifically say so, as the style is hackneyed.

you're just jealous that I know Brian wilson, hang out with the Beatles and Yes and I record with some of those big producers. Don't you think this is esque of something or other band?

This suits me just fine. I love this sort of pop. I agree with the comment on the profanity. But that's my only criticism.

This has a powerful pop-rock appeal from the opening notes. But what's with the love affair with profanity? It cheapens the song. The song's got a lot of melodic appeal. It's well-arranged and wonderfully performed, but the lyrics just make it juvenile.
