Thanks for the Feature fizzers! That was our bluesy song. Let us know what you think of the next one.

The vocals are a little awkward, but I can see why it's a feature. It rocks.

I agree with Dave. Besides, while it's possible for music to become trite, all music is, to some degree, "derivative"--unless one designs his own instruments with, say, a 14.5-tone scale, and introduces forms never-before-heard-of in songs vocalized only by dog choirs (hey, that'll be my new approach), we ALL derive ideas from various sources. The question is really, "How well is this done?" Or perhaps, "Do I personally like it enough to care?" There may be some retro-influences here, but it's well-handled. Maybe it's not what I would usually listen to, but I can appreciate that it's well done.

I'd say more retro than derivative. You don't always need to reinvent the wheel to get where you're going.

Derivative - that's why these old guys are describing it as Rawk rather than ROCK!:

I give it 1.5 out of 5 because I think it represents about 30% of your potential.

I love this style.. reminds me of Robin Trower and all the stuff my cousins would play all bug eyed in their basements in the 70s. when I decided to love rock n roll

GREAT

The cowbell rocks! Love the funky component. Cool riffs. Is the bassist a Jack Bruce fan?--that bass break is Bruce's signature lick! I like it! This would be fun to hear live.
