Man, there's a bunch of cool Freudian stuff here. you have a barren womb. Like you're trying to be your own mother..but you're also flying..unrooted..entering the sea which is the amniotic fluid of the womb..but it's really death, etc...and then this girl comes along and you think she can help you out, but she's just as screwed up as you and perhaps even more screwed up and you follow her into the same amniotic death...This is evident. Nice. I would have something cool at the end like a death scene...white lights hovering above the water as you relinquish the struggle into eternal peace. That would be satisfying.

i never listened to Danzig, misfits or samhain. i did like the cult briefly. i had another song called "away" that people thought sounded like danzig. i think musically there's very little resemblance, and lyrically, none at all. though i'll take a compliment, or comparison if it's a compliment, any day of the week. i do like to mix up my stuff, so you never know what lies beyond the horizon.

I actually have all the misfits and samhain records. I didn't follow into the danzig era. Kind of lost me there. My favorite was the legacy of brutality compilation. But that was kind of weird because danzig overdubbed some of the tracks. I hear that here. But I still think it sounds more like figur flint. I love the guitars on this.

For a few months in 2008, I thought Figur Flint ruled fizzdom. Most seemed unimpressed. I found that odd as I was ready to crown them greatest rock band in the world. When I return, I find I still like them. This tune would fit perfectly in the Figur Flint set. But they are long gone. And Angie Fights Crime, apparently, has been prolific as all lately. I have been taking it easy and absent, I really need to catch up. I dig this a bunch.

I am also becoming a fan of that JWV guy. Nobody has written reviews that well for a while

The mix could breath and pop more, (the cymbals are particularly muted) but this is way cool. Hope it doesn't upset anyone to say this contains elements of what I liked about Figur Flint. I could hear Danzig singing this, but I wouldn't confuse this with Danzig. Really cool song. I dig.

it's good. i think it should be a key or two lower. the bass should be an octave lower. i do like it though. . it's well-done.

Hearing Danzig's vocal style there, too.
