Thanks for the insightful feedback and feature guys! I never woulda thought of dancehall but if i had access to clarinets n whatnot id certainly give it a shot. Ditto to crazier piano bits. Im still trying to teach myself how to play it. The vocal effect was telephone or something which we thought would give it a old timey feel. Im surprised this was featured over our last few but shows what i know. I was aiming for a westerberg "if only u were lonely" vibe.

This is actually really good. I would have liked it a lot more if it weren't for that effect on the vocals.

I can hear Dr. John singing this with a few clarinet solos. I wish this were played a little more to the campy dance hall tunes it really wants to be. Think, Your Mother Should Know, Honey Pie, When I'm Sixty-Four, or You Gave Me the Answer. I would like to like this more, but the vocals hurt my ears.

I hear a lot of elements of bands and influences that I really like, that I've mentioned on previous tunes. I dig the melody... seems like you draw from a lot of older stuff....The vocals are great. It's probably the best part. Cool tune.

The vocals are real nice. The pitch is great. I'd prefer choppier, less consistently sustained guitar and cymbals. Would want more wild piano too, higher range, more tremelos or something that fits the off kilter feel and vocals.
