ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

Thank you all for the thoughts, input, and appreciation. I hope one day to do this with a larger group. Yeah, Brazil's a fine flick and I'm glad I'm still a kid. What sort of accent do I have, Richie?

Elephant, what do you mean by the voicing being chorusy? I think I understand, but I'm not sure.

my favorite so far
dispite my feelings of perplexity towards your music, I do want to be a fan and I want to see you succeed in your own way.. do you remember the soundtrack to brazil? it reminds me of your thang.. - I know you got potetial kid... - it's a similar vibe both musically and conceptually

I love the way the progression seems to dive under, rather than ascend on the turns and the falsetto at the end was a nice finishing touch.

i hate music for arts sake, i really do, if i'm not entertained in some way, then it's a failure. that being said, this is obviously your most accessible piece that i've heard in a while and i love it, but i would also hate it if all of your pieces sounded like this one. fantastic!

So you pull this stuff off live...and you have an accent.
Good enough for me.

Perhaps the most cohesive thing I've heard from you, musically. Lyrically, I've given up on trying to make too much sense of your compositions. That seemed best. There are some cool chord changes in here--particularly on the line, "when you came back home." I like the sustained vocal note with the changing chords under it. That's actually very effective.

I think I just love piano. Even if the voicing is a little chorusy. I can't believe I haven't commented on this. I wanted to be able to come back. I am not usually a lyrics guy. These are great.
