ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

This is a bit too bombastic for than my tastes, but it's quite well done. The vocals are forceful, but the melody is strong. The song is really well arranged. Pretty clean production, too! While it's not my thang, I think you hit your target!

I admit, I love these vocals. Jeni walked in and declared this pretty rockin'. Seriously, this vindicates my previous criticisms, because this is really a step up. I love that the bass drum isn't crazy stacatto. Good musicianship all around. This mix sounds like it is optimized for small media, good for most, not so much for me. I am behind you this time, man. Metallica is a huge chunk of crap. This is really good.

Major league nut on this one! Love the break.

Strange, there's something present day teenage cartoony about the vocals. I don't like them. I think it's really popular now though. I would like some passionate virtuosic instrumental section a la early Metallica. Maybe a lead guitar hovering around like spaceships over the bridge too.

Do you remember what they said? When they were counting up their dead.
Gather up your bones, and bring them back home instead.
We've been making piles of the one we loved for years, and it's still not getting any easier.

No one wants to start this over, and they're ready to admit they were wrong for the sake of someone else's bloodshed.
All that we are: Fuel to flame the fire.
Do you remember them, because they'll remember you.

I can hear them now, as they're dancing in the night, singing about a better life.
If we could only turn back time, and we could have known now, what they knew then.

Now I can see them in their prime, as we're looking back on time.
Not taken by the sudden loss of life.
As your voices echo on, just know that we still hear you.
We always will.
