ghengus23: great down dirty country rock feelin' from the start. Reminds me of social distortion. Not sure if...

Russ Stedman - I have been writing and recording my own music for over 30 years. I'm old. But I still like you.

I too have listened to most of your 30 years of music. I need therapy.

Love the second half, hate the first half. Could be great if it wasn't for the vocals at the start.

Seriously, this is why I hang around. If it doesn't offend the Stedman, I think this track would have fit very nicely on They Might Be Giants, John Henry, which I thought was a damn spiffy record.

Thank you sir. I have slowed to a crawl output-wise since my 20's. Thanks for watching the Sneakies video. That was a fun band. I was the long-hair with the Goldtop.

If the high end is overdone, us hard of hearing don't mind. I don't hear any excessive sibilance. I think at some point you have tremolo on the vocals, odd choice there. But organs and even harpsichord, juxtaposed with the deep fried skip picking guitar, (which in the outro is brilliant) is a combo that makes my ears happy. I haven't heard all your catalog like our resident spaz, but I did listen to a few on this album and watched a 45min Sneakies video. I drank a beer and put it on wide screen so it was almost like being there. I probably have been doing this as long as you have, but I remember for years my output would be only a few songs a year. Amazing prolificity.

I agree about the too much high-end. Here's the album it came from :

sounds like an album track from an interesting weird album. A little bit too much high freqs in the mix maybe, but nicely done

Kinda goes, They Might Be Giants on us and then runs with it. In the year of our lord, thirty ought six, ha ha. Triumphant in its own way.

I would have shart my pants if I was in my stoner phase listening to this.. then worshiped you. Devil horns and head bangs.

Awful start, redeemed by a great organ solo and guitar solo in the middle and then a cracking ending. Pretty damn creative.
