It's great. The cool thing is that you took a neat riff and went with it. I play with that very progression all the time but I was never able to morph it into something.

Interesting pick pattern with some promise in the song itself. It is hard not to let recording quality affect judgement about your music. Some attention to your recording process would pay off. Tune your guitar and make sure that you can play the pick pattern without so many muffs. It sounds to me like you recorded this before you had perfected the riff and lyrics - uncertain attack in the vocals and sloppy playing detract from the music.
