Your production is so nice, nowadays. This is a lovely tune. I feel honored the Dia del Mercado song inspired you

Sweet... Nice song writing, especially the lyrical hook "my roses are blue". I like how the song has just a touch country, blues and folk blended together. Your vocals are not what I'd call pretty, but too much polish is boring anyway. It works well enough with the song, in the same way that Jerry Garcia's (Greatful Dead) vocals used to work. Instrumentation and production qualities are solid. Overall, you aren't going to have mass appeal, but I personally like both the song and performance.
