and thanks to WillB and my friend Deb in Colorado who listened live on WEPM's website. You guys are hardcore!!

The interview went great. Not very long but a lot of fun. Our tune Throw a Penny was played plus we talked about the formation of MEZ and what it is like to work musically with someone you have never met. I gave a shout out at the end to all of our buddies here on Redfizz.

I am happy to report that I got an email back from ZNR Records that they would like to carry the MEZ CD. They are a pretty good sized distributor of progressive music so this is pretty exciting!! Copies heading their way on Monday.

way cool...a total stranger listened to the samples on CD Baby, tracked me down via Facebook and wants a copy. Lives nearby....probably a MEZ stalker...but if they have the $10 I'm cool with that.

We kicked around not doing the covers but we really liked them. Too late now anyway huh?

You know: after 3 listens, I'd say the only drawback are the covers. I say this with all due affection but I think the album would be better if it was all originals...That's my only suggestion. It kicks ass

Well I got through about 5 songs and it kicks. I mean it in the nicest way but you can both play and compose better than I thought you could. The mastering is awesome. I did some comparisons and the sound is loud and clear. Much better at cd quality and must be listened to at a good volume. I am impressed.

I am totally tickled with the CD. Just heard from CD Baby...should hopefully be available with them very soon....including downloads for those who just can't seem to purchase a real CD anymore.

it looks like the BOMB pretty much.. If you look back at our drunken psycho sugar high starts as a site, I'm plumb happy with everything.

I think the packaging is very professional.

i think they did a real fine job on the manufacturing end. as a graphic artist, i must say the print job is top notch. and the cd replication is excellent. i was worried about these things, being a DIY-er, but they done us proud. who are THEY you ask?

T-RackS Deluxe 3.1.1 VST, to be exact.

IK Multimedia mastering software. TS Rack or something like that. plugged right in to Sonar. really made a ton of difference on the tunes that needed it.

Just got a phone call from the woman who bought the MEZ CD. I do not know this person very well, mostly from the occasional party...she had to call to tell me how much she really liked the music......it does not get any better than this. I am happy.

Was at a party this evening...sold some MEZ CDs....comment from someone at the party who bought a CD...."Complicated music"
