Its spelled Dukies. Maybe you are thinking those UNC Tarheads.

I got a slide whistle, a penny whistle, and a tonette. YOu can make all the stuff cry you want. I use my trumpet to make my wifey cry.

Ok, I'll play guitar too but I'll leave my tin whistle at home until it stops making dogs cry (and humans)

Yeah, I'm here in Raleighwood. I hosted the third fizzfest here at the casa de PiG CiTY SoUND company in the then newly opened Our Lady of Dubious Expenditure studio. Babar, WillB, and Meat attended in person, but we also had a large contingent of faux fizzers. I was too busy to take good pictures but we snapped off a few. http://web.mac.com/littletimmy1/PiG_CiTY_SoUND/Fizzfest.html We had a keg of Sam Adams and one of Flying Dog Double Dog. I think arpmoog lives somewhere around here too, but I'm not sure where. WillB is just down the road in Burlington. We like to get together and roast oysters. Aren't you from Cali? Where ever, welcome to the piedmont. We're just a few hours to the beach on one side, a few to the mountains on the other. I kinda like it here.

Isaacs, if you ever come across the oceans, you will be given a guitar to play, and you will play it. Of course you can play drums too. I'm just not going to pass up a chance to see you play guitar in person. I gots to learn me some licks.

The Fizzfests that have occurred are about musicians from varying backgrounds getting together to explore what can be done with the collective talents assembled with no pre-conceived notions or expectations on what the final outcome might be. The French Ode to Jerry Lewis for me is a great example of were everyone just let loose and went with the flow. Spontaneous magic. Yes painful, but magic nonetheless.

as you put it:

Redfizz has a lot of hidden gems. Some are great some are ridiculous and some are pathetic and possibly even funny.

I found this today. It is funny to me!
